Anniston Fellowship House- Recovery Services

I completed the program in 60 days and transferred to the after-care program (foundation). I'm now back in the main facility as a part-time night staff. It is a great faith based program it just needs more formal step study.

Bradford Health Services - A Reprieve for Men

My son entered the reprieve several days before he turned 19 yo after his 2nd inpatient rehab admission. He was ready to try to change his life, and the reprieve has given him all the tools and support he has needed to make that change. The 12 step program has been paramount to his sobriety. The reprieve staff has been very supportive and educational for our family throughout the process. With our son having been sober for 11 months, having success in his college courses, and his overall becoming a responsible adult, we are very proud of him and are believers in what the reprieve can do for those battling addiction that are ready to try to change their lives. Having gone through brief inpatient stays and a failed outpatient program before, our family feels strongly that a prolonged program like the reprieve is the best investment one could ever make in the life of their loved one battling the disease of addiction. To anyone reading this looking to help their loved one, stay supportive, learn not to enable their behavior, and don\'t give up. Good luck and may God bless your family.

Alcohol Rehab and Programs

A wide range of treatment options and programs are offered in alcohol rehab which are intended to address addiction at various stages and assist on the road to recovery. From inpatient treatment to outpatient programs, all treatment levels are designed to provide targeted and effective support. This approach acknowledges that every person’s road to overcoming addiction is unique and that care must be tailored to their needs.

What Happens in Alcohol Rehab?

There are several stages that comprise alcohol rehabilitation, and each one serves a particular purpose in the recovery process. Detoxification, inpatient care, outpatient programs, and aftercare assistance are among these stages. These various levels of care are created to meet people where they are in their journey to recovery, offering comprehensive and individualized assistance for a smooth transition to a healthier, drug-free life, while taking into account the uniqueness of each person’s experience.

Alcohol Detox Programs

In the early phases of alcohol rehab, detoxification is essential. These programs, which are closely monitored by medical specialists, provide a secure setting for people to detox from alcohol while treating unpleasant and potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms. To ease the physical and emotional pain of alcohol withdrawal and facilitate a smoother transition to a substance-free state, medications are frequently administered. Through this medically supervised support and assistance, detox prepares individuals for continued treatment before they move to the next stage of care.

How Long Is Alcohol Detox in Rehab?

The process of detoxification typically takes 3 to 7 days. However, in order to successfully meet each person’s specific needs during this critical stage of their recovery journey, the length of detox varies depending on factors like the severity of addiction, personal health, and reaction to treatment.

Alcohol Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehab is an intensive program that provides a controlled and encouraging environment. During inpatient treatment, individuals reside at the center or facility for the duration of the program. Typically, the length of these programs is 30 days, though, depending on the needs of the individual, lengths of 60 or 90 days might be suggested. Developing and implementing a thorough treatment plan that addresses both the addiction and any possible co-occurring mental health conditions is the main goal of inpatient alcohol rehab.

Therapy is a key component of inpatient care and assists patients in navigating their road to recovery. Through various therapies, such as individual counseling and group therapy, the root causes of addiction are investigated, effective coping skills are learned, and relapse prevention methods are developed. These therapeutic strategies provide the tools and support needed to motivate and sustain lifelong recovery.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

Alcohol outpatient programs offer a flexible and less constrictive treatment alternative. These treatment programs are particularly effective for people with minor addiction issues or those who have finished an inpatient program and are reintegrating into their daily lives. Individuals in outpatient programs are able to return to their daily routines while attending scheduled therapy and treatment sessions.

Individual counseling, group therapy, and instructional sessions are just a few of the therapeutic methods frequently used in outpatient alcohol treatment programs. These sessions are intended to assist people in understanding the causes of their addiction, develop coping skills, and learn crucial relapse prevention skills. Individuals in these programs also receive aftercare support to ensure a seamless transition back into society while guarding against triggers and potential relapse scenarios.

How Much Does Alcohol Rehab Cost?

Paying for treatment might seem like a significant challenge, adding more stress to an already stressful situation. Some people might even be discouraged by the cost of rehab and choose to avoid getting the help they desperately require. It’s important to realize that concerns over finances should never cause someone to not seek treatment. There are many different ways to access effective addiction treatment, including:

Does Insurance Cover Alcohol Rehab?
