Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

Bradford Health Services - A Reprieve for Men

My son entered the reprieve several days before he turned 19 yo after his 2nd inpatient rehab admission. He was ready to try to change his life, and the reprieve has given him all the tools and support he has needed to make that change. The 12 step program has been paramount to his sobriety. The reprieve staff has been very supportive and educational for our family throughout the process. With our son having been sober for 11 months, having success in his college courses, and his overall becoming a responsible adult, we are very proud of him and are believers in what the reprieve can do for those battling addiction that are ready to try to change their lives. Having gone through brief inpatient stays and a failed outpatient program before, our family feels strongly that a prolonged program like the reprieve is the best investment one could ever make in the life of their loved one battling the disease of addiction. To anyone reading this looking to help their loved one, stay supportive, learn not to enable their behavior, and don\'t give up. Good luck and may God bless your family.

Alcohol Rehab and Programs

Alcohol rehab can be a challenging journey, but fortunately, there are various programs and options available to help treat addiction and aid in the journey to recovery. Each person’s journey is unique, which is why there are multiple levels of care offered when entering rehab.

What Happens in Alcohol Rehab?

Alcohol rehab is a process of treatment and recovery that aims to help individuals overcome their alcohol addiction and achieve long-term sobriety. Each stage of treatment is specifically designed to cater to the individual’s needs and provide the necessary support to achieve long-term sobriety. These levels of care include detox, inpatient, outpatient, and aftercare.

Alcohol Detox Programs

Detox programs are an essential part of alcohol rehab and, often, the initial treatment stage, where individuals are medically monitored during the withdrawal process. Medications may be administered to alleviate unpleasant symptoms that may arise and to ensure that the duration of treatment is safe and comfortable. It’s important to note that detox is just the first step in the recovery process and should be followed by further treatment and therapy to achieve long-term sobriety.

How Long Is Alcohol Detox in Rehab?

The length of detox typically ranges from 3-7 days, but the length of care varies depending on the individual’s level of addiction and overall health. Detox lays the foundation for a successful recovery journey; therefore it is crucial to take the appropriate amount of time to fully complete this stage of treatment.

Alcohol Inpatient Rehab

When it comes to alcohol rehab, inpatient treatment programs are often recommended for those who require a more intensive level of care. In these programs, individuals live at the treatment facility and receive round-the-clock care from medical and mental health professionals. Therapy is a crucial component of inpatient alcohol rehab, as it helps patients stay on track with their healing and address any underlying mental health concerns that may be contributing to their addiction. This may include individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy, among other approaches.

The length of inpatient alcohol rehab programs can vary depending on the individual’s needs. 30-day programs are the most popular, but 60 or 90-day programs may be necessary for those with more severe addictions or co-occurring disorders. Ultimately, the goal of inpatient alcohol rehab is to help individuals achieve long-term sobriety and improve their overall quality of life.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

If you or a loved one is struggling with alcohol addiction, you may be wondering: how does outpatient alcohol rehab work, and what can you expect from this type of treatment? Outpatient alcohol rehab programs allow individuals to receive treatment while continuing to live at home, allowing individuals to continue working, going to school, and caring for their families while receiving treatment. This is in contrast to inpatient programs, where patients live at the treatment facility for the duration of the program. Outpatient programs typically involve a combination of therapy and support group meetings, and patients may attend several hours of treatment per week.

In outpatient alcohol rehab, patients learn tools for aftercare and relapse prevention to help them maintain their sobriety once they graduate from treatment. This may include skills such as identifying triggers, developing coping strategies, and building a strong support network. By teaching patients how to navigate the challenges of recovery, outpatient alcohol rehab programs aim to help individuals achieve long-term sobriety and lead fulfilling lives.

How Much Does Alcohol Rehab Cost?

Paying for rehab can be a daunting task, and it’s understandable that it may feel like a huge burden. However, it’s important to understand that not seeking help for an alcohol addiction can have severe consequences. The good news is that there are options for getting treatment paid for, including:

Does Insurance Cover Alcohol Rehab?
