Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

The Haven

Strengths include: group therapy daily, counseling one-on-one, religious services, and cleanliness. However, there were not enough activities like exercise or watching tv. I don't think it's worth the money, many I have talked to have returned over and over so obviously their forms of treatment are not working.

Alcohol Rehab and Programs

Alcohol rehab is a treatment program designed to help those struggling with alcohol addiction. With various options and programs available, it provides individuals with the necessary tools and support to aid in their journey to recovery.

What Happens in Alcohol Rehab?

There are multiple levels of care when entering into alcohol rehab, each designed to cover specific stages of treatment. These stages typically include detox, inpatient care, outpatient care, and aftercare. Each level of care offers a unique approach to treatment and provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking help for alcohol addiction.

Alcohol Detox Programs

Detox programs are medically monitored programs that are often the first step in alcohol addiction treatment. Medications are often administered during this process to help with the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, which can be severe and even life-threatening. It is crucial to complete a detox program before moving on to other treatment options, as it can help set the foundation for a successful recovery journey.

How Long Is Alcohol Detox in Rehab?

These programs typically last for 3-7 days, during which time individuals receive around-the-clock care and support to ensure their safety and comfort.

Alcohol Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient alcohol rehab programs are highly structured and intensive programs that provide individuals with 24-hour care and support. These programs focus heavily on therapy to address any underlying mental health issues that may be contributing to their addiction. Inpatient treatment programs typically last for 30 days, but some may require longer stays of 60 or 90 days to fully recover.

During inpatient alcohol rehab, individuals participate in group and individual counseling sessions to help them learn coping skills and strategies for managing their addiction. Therapy is used to help keep them on track with their healing and to treat any co-occurring disorders that may be happening. In addition, individuals receive medical care and support to ensure their physical health and safety. This comprehensive approach to treatment addresses all aspects of addiction and provides individuals with the tools they need to achieve and maintain sobriety.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

Outpatient alcohol rehab is a type of treatment program that allows individuals to receive treatment while still being able to live at home. Unlike inpatient treatment, clients do not stay at the facility 24/7 but instead attend therapy sessions and medical appointments on an outpatient basis. This makes outpatient alcohol rehab a more flexible option for those who may not be able to commit to a full-time inpatient program.

During outpatient alcohol rehab, individuals participate in individual and group therapy sessions to help them develop coping skills and strategies for managing their addiction. Individuals in outpatient treatment are also taught tools for effective aftercare and relapse prevention by learning how to identify triggers and develop plans for how to avoid them in the future.
