Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

Bradford Health Services - A Reprieve for Men

While my son has not completed the full one year program, the change in my son is one that wouldn't have happened on his own. The staff is to be commended for their commitment to helping others like themselves who need this treatment. Family weekend changed everything about how I thought about addiction. I wish I could give each facilitator a hug and thank them for helping me see things about addiction I hadn't known before, and for their kindness toward the families present. The focus on the 12 Step program helps build a foundation needed for a strong mind and mindfulness. Thank you, Reprieve staff.

Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders

MC is a good trmt ctr. Yes, there are kinks in the program but I’m sure every treatment center has some kinks. Housing is kept clean. Program is good for clients needing to restore wt. Nursing staff was great! In house staff counselors were grt too, some were a little young & immature for some of the responsibilities handed over to them. Seemed to be short staffed for the amount of responsibilities given. My opinion only. I would recommend Mag Creek & I would trust one of my family members to be in the hands @ MC facility. I was there as a patient during Summer, 2019. Chef needed improvement, but food was good. Doctors were good. I have a lot of medical problems & the physical doctor addressed my issues very wise & w/ cautious! My primary therapist was great. Was not impressed w/ Nutritionist. Came across as treating her clients more of a competition to her peers. Very sad she’s in this kind of job to be claiming to try to help others. Magnolia Creek is a good Ed treat center. It’s not a 5 star program but is a good program w/ caring staff, clean housing. They are very HARD on you if you don’t complete your meals and they are discrete ab it. They take your phone time away from you & make you sit @ the table & give you an accountability sheet for not completing all of your food or meals @ end of day. Meals are huge, large & not always accurately measured out for your correct portions. Then they document you for not eating larger amounts that shouldn’t go against you anyways. They have you eating every 2 hours, hungry OR NOT you EAT!

Alcohol Rehab and Programs

Alcohol rehab offers a variety of options and programs to help individuals in their journey to recovery from addiction. These diverse approaches cater to different needs, providing valuable support on the path to sobriety.

What Happens in Alcohol Rehab?

Recovery treatment encompasses several stages, including detox, inpatient care, outpatient programs, and aftercare, ensuring that individuals receive the right level of support based on their progress and needs throughout their path to sobriety. This comprehensive approach acknowledges that each person’s recovery journey is unique and may require different strategies at different points.

Alcohol Detox Programs

Detox programs play a critical role in the early stages of recovery, providing a medically supervised environment where individuals can safely navigate the challenging process of alcohol withdrawal. These programs are carefully structured to manage the physical and psychological symptoms that can arise when alcohol consumption is abruptly halted. Medical professionals closely monitor individuals throughout this phase, and medications are often administered to alleviate the discomfort and potential health risks associated with withdrawal. By offering this essential support, detox programs ensure a safer and more manageable transition into the subsequent phases of rehabilitation and recovery.

How Long Is Alcohol Detox in Rehab?

Detoxification, typically lasting anywhere from 3 to 7 days, is the initial phase of recovery where the body rids itself of alcohol and adjusts to functioning without it. The duration can vary based on factors such as the individual’s level of alcohol dependence, overall health, and the severity of withdrawal symptoms experienced.

Alcohol Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient alcohol rehab programs offer a comprehensive and structured approach to recovery, providing individuals with a supportive environment where they can focus solely on their healing journey. These programs typically involve residing within a treatment facility for a specified period, often around 30 days, although the duration can extend to 60 or 90 days based on individual needs.

The core of inpatient alcohol rehab lies in therapy that addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. Through individual counseling and group therapy sessions, patients work with trained professionals to understand the underlying causes of their alcohol misuse and develop coping mechanisms to navigate triggers and cravings.

Additionally, inpatient treatment programs recognize the potential presence of co-occurring disorders, such as mental health issues, which are thoroughly evaluated and concurrently treated alongside the addiction. The immersive nature of inpatient care minimizes external influences and distractions, allowing individuals to fully immerse themselves in the recovery process. As patients progress through the program, the treatment team may adjust the duration of the stay to best align with their progress and needs, thereby maximizing the potential for sustained and meaningful recovery.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

Alcohol outpatient rehab offers a flexible and more independent approach to recovery, allowing individuals to continue their daily lives while participating in treatment. This form of rehab is ideal for those with milder substance use disorders or individuals who have completed an inpatient program and are transitioning to a less intensive level of care. Individuals attend therapy sessions on a regular basis, whether it’s individual counseling, group therapy, or family sessions, all of which are aimed at addressing the underlying causes of addiction and developing effective coping strategies.

One of the significant advantages of alcohol outpatient rehab is its emphasis on teaching individuals tools for aftercare and relapse prevention. Individuals learn essential life skills to navigate triggers and temptations in their everyday environment. These programs equip patients with strategies to identify potential relapse warning signs and provide them with the skills to manage high-risk situations effectively. Moreover, the supportive network of peers and therapists fosters a sense of accountability, helping patients stay committed to their sobriety goals.

How Much Does Alcohol Rehab Cost?

Paying for rehab can be stressful, potentially deterring individuals from seeking the help they truly need. Worrying about the potential financial burden, however, should not serve as a reason to forgo this critical step toward recovery. It’s important to recognize that there exist various options and resources to make treatment accessible and affordable. Some options include:

Does Insurance Cover Alcohol Rehab?

When considering the financial aspects of seeking alcohol rehab, it’s crucial to understand that insurance coverage can play a significant role in offsetting the costs. Many insurance plans offer coverage for addiction treatment, which can alleviate a substantial portion of the financial burden. Commonly used insurances include, but are not limited to:
