Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

Bradford Health Services - A Reprieve for Men

My son entered the reprieve several days before he turned 19 yo after his 2nd inpatient rehab admission. He was ready to try to change his life, and the reprieve has given him all the tools and support he has needed to make that change. The 12 step program has been paramount to his sobriety. The reprieve staff has been very supportive and educational for our family throughout the process. With our son having been sober for 11 months, having success in his college courses, and his overall becoming a responsible adult, we are very proud of him and are believers in what the reprieve can do for those battling addiction that are ready to try to change their lives. Having gone through brief inpatient stays and a failed outpatient program before, our family feels strongly that a prolonged program like the reprieve is the best investment one could ever make in the life of their loved one battling the disease of addiction. To anyone reading this looking to help their loved one, stay supportive, learn not to enable their behavior, and don\'t give up. Good luck and may God bless your family.

Alcohol Rehab and Programs

Alcohol rehab offers a diverse array of options and programs meticulously designed to address addiction and guide individuals on their path to recovery. These comprehensive programs provide a lifeline to those seeking help and support, ensuring a holistic and effective approach to overcoming alcohol dependency.

What Happens in Alcohol Rehab?

The journey to recovery from alcohol addiction comprises distinct stages, each tailored to meet individual needs and circumstances. These stages encompass detoxification (detox), inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Recognizing that each person’s path to sobriety is unique, rehab facilities offer a range of care levels to cater to individuals at various stages of their recovery journey.

Alcohol Detox Programs

Detox programs are a critical first step in alcohol addiction treatment, and they are conducted under careful medical supervision. These programs provide a safe environment for individuals to undergo the withdrawal process. During detox, patients may experience a range of withdrawal symptoms, which can be physically and emotionally challenging. To alleviate these symptoms and ensure a safer transition to sobriety, medical professionals often administer medications specifically designed to manage withdrawal effects. This medical supervision and medication management not only enhance safety but also improve the overall comfort and effectiveness of the detoxification process, allowing individuals to begin their journey to recovery with greater ease and reduced discomfort.

How Long Is Alcohol Detox in Rehab?

The duration of alcohol detox typically spans a period of 3 to 7 days. However, it’s important to note that the precise length of detox can vary from person to person based on factors such as the severity of alcohol dependence, individual health considerations, and the specific detox protocol employed by the treatment facility.

Alcohol Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient alcohol rehab programs are structured, intensive treatment settings that provide individuals with a highly supportive environment for their recovery journey. Therapy plays a pivotal role in these programs, serving both to keep patients on track with their healing and to address any co-occurring disorders that may be present. While 30-day programs are among the most popular options, treatment duration can vary based on individual needs, and extended programs of 60 or 90 days are often recommended for more comprehensive support.

So, how does inpatient alcohol rehab work? These programs typically involve a combination of individual counseling, group therapy, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Therapy sessions are tailored to address the root causes of addiction, teach essential coping strategies, and provide valuable tools for life after treatment. Moreover, inpatient rehab provides a sober living environment that minimizes distractions, allowing individuals to focus intensively on their recovery. This comprehensive approach ensures that not only the addiction but also any co-occurring mental health disorders are thoroughly addressed, empowering individuals to achieve lasting sobriety beyond their stay in the inpatient alcohol rehab program.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

Outpatient alcohol rehab is a flexible approach to addiction treatment that allows individuals to receive therapy and support while maintaining their daily routines. While in these programs, individuals attend scheduled therapy sessions at an outpatient facility, which enables them to continue working, attending school, and fulfilling family responsibilities. These sessions encompass various forms of therapy, including individual counseling, group therapy, and educational workshops, all aimed at addressing the root causes of addiction and developing effective coping strategies.

One of the key advantages of outpatient alcohol rehab is its emphasis on equipping individuals with the tools for aftercare and relapse prevention. Patients learn valuable skills and strategies to maintain their sobriety once they’ve completed their primary treatment. This includes developing a strong support network, recognizing triggers, and implementing healthy coping mechanisms. The flexibility of outpatient treatment also allows for a gradual transition back into everyday life, providing a controlled environment where individuals can apply what they’ve learned in real-world situations.

How Much Does Alcohol Rehab Cost?

Paying for rehab can indeed feel overwhelming, and the financial aspect of treatment can be a significant source of stress. However, it’s important to understand that the cost of rehab should never keep anyone from seeking the help they need. Various options are available to make treatment more affordable, such as:

Does Insurance Cover Alcohol Rehab?

Alcohol rehab insurance can be a lifeline for those seeking addiction treatment. Many insurance plans offer coverage for at least a portion of rehab costs, making professional help more accessible and affordable for individuals on their journey to recovery.
