Arrowhead Lodge Recovery for Men & Women

My son was in need of recovery. From the moment I talked with the co-owner, I started to feel a moment of relief. She took charge and completely understood the situation that I was facing. It took a couple times to get my son to accept the idea that he needed this but once I got him there they took charge of him. It took him a while to submit and accept what needed to be accepted and once we passed that hurdle, things started developing in the right direction. A staff stood in almost as a surrogate "parent" to help my son understand what he was doing and got him to see past his addiction and start becoming the person he was years ago. Therapy my son received was extensive. His interaction with therapists and doctors helped provide him the necessary tools to clear his mind, and start living a grateful life. The facility is very comfortable, a large mountain side house with plenty of room to find a quiet place to think, a kitchen that is semi-gourmet, with a meal plan that is healthy, my son gained about 20 pounds while in therapy which he needed. They also got him off of his addiction to smoking which is a great side benefit. The availability to talk with the therapists and was never an issue...I called them often and they always listened and counseled me which I needed. My son has decided to stay in Prescott to continue outpatient therapy with the therapist he was assigned to because they have formed a close relationship. Their attention to his case was very evident, they cared greatly about his recovery and I felt so very comfortable with their advise and counsel. This place deserves all of the credit for turning a loose, crazed horse back into a young man that I can be proud to call my son. Thank you Thank you Thank you...did I say Thank you enough! The Sanctuary at Sedona

Hi All I am here now to focus on the Joyus, Uplifting, Supportive, Motivating, Spiritually enlighting and gastronomically phenomenal experience I had during my oh so brief stay at Sanctuary. While I was there I found the staff to be phenomenally supportive, informed, and aware of the ins and outs of the business of helping people improve their lives. The facility is outstanding, the grounds are wonderful ,the experience of the different types of features that are offered are just outstanding. The approach to healing that is found at Sanctuary is one that involves not just "don't do that" but becoming aware of how to improve and how to find yourself. The medical, spiritual, and operational staff are outstanding. Oh, and did I mention the culinary department? The food at sanctuary is world class. The extensive and creative menu by their on staff chefs change daily and the products that were presented to us were delicious, filling and healthy. The majority of the vegetables and everything were pulled from their own gardens so freshness was a key feature in the presentation that they gave. Let me close this. "AHO"
