    Shannon McQuaid, LMFT, LISAC, CDWF, CSAT-CExecutive Director
    Shannon joined Promises Scottsdale’s treatment team in October 2009. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed independent substance abuse counselor. Shannon is also a certified sex addiction therapist and a certified The Daring Way™ Facilitator. She has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field treating substance abuse, eating disorders, co-occurring disorders, and sexual addiction.
  • Dr. Thomas Gazda, M.D.
    Dr. Thomas Gazda, M.D.Psychiatrist
    Dr. Gazda received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois. He earned board certification in family practice and psychiatry from the University of Vermont. Dr. Gazda has served in many behavioral healthcare roles such as inpatient psychiatrist, principal investigator for research trials, private practitioner, and community mental health psychiatrist. He was Chief of Staff for three years at Banner Behavioral health. Dr. Gazda practices holistic, integrative care from a biopsychosocial approach. He was named a “Top Doc” in 2007 and is listed in “America’s Top Psychiatrists.”
