Treatment Philosophy
Oxford Treatment Center is a 110 acre campus located within the Holly Springs National Forest. With a 5-acre lake, ducks, geese and beautiful undisturbed forest land, the rural setting at Oxford Treatment Center offers a tranquil healing environment. Our approach to addiction treatment is a holistic one, seeking to restore hope and health to individuals who come to us out of painful, self-destructive patterns. It’s not enough to end a physical dependency through successful medical detox. On the other side of that first step, the individual in recovery must have the right support in place to break those old habits and replace them with new ones. He or she must find a new way to fill the void that drugs or alcohol once did — essentially, find a new meaning in life. At Oxford Treatment Center, our team of dedicated professionals consists of a medical director, a board certified addictions psychiatrist, a board certified internist, and 6 board certified nurse practitioners. The most unique hallmark of our team of medical providers is an average of 8 year tenure at Oxford Treatment Center. The medical provider cohort is proud of the stability and commitment it provides to our patients.

This detox center was very clean, very helpful, and very caring. I have never been to a treatment center that went above and beyond for their clients. I want to thank everyone at holiday island employees and the clients i had the pleasure to meet. XO

Capstone Treatment Center

We sent our 15 year old son to Capstone for pornography addiction, reckless sexual behavior, and gender dysphoria. The center was recommended to us by a friend who is a certified CSAT and Christian counselor. It not only met our expectations but we returned home with the son we felt we lost. They really love these boys and get to the root of their issues. The therapy is top notch. Parents need to be prepared to participate and do their own work as well which is a vital part of the process.

About Arkansas

Arkansas, located in the southern part of the country, is a state filled with diverse attractions and a unique cultural heritage. With a population of approximately three million residents1, it offers a mix of rural communities and vibrant urban centers. Known as the Natural State, Arkansas boasts stunning natural beauty, including the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains, the Mississippi River, and numerous lakes and forests. Its picturesque landscapes make it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, fishing, and boating.

The state’s rich cultural heritage is reflected in its music, art, and cuisine, with influences from Native American, African American, and European traditions. Arkansas is also home to several significant historical sites, including the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock and the historical town of Hot Springs, famous for its thermal baths. With its friendly and welcoming residents, Arkansas provides a warm and inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of southern hospitality.

Alcohol Misuse and Addiction in Arkansas

Substance misuse and addiction pose significant challenges in Arkansas, as evident from the alarming increase in drug overdose death rates. From 2011 to 2021, the rate of drug overdose deaths in Arkansas surged from 12.6 per 100,000 to a concerning 22.3 per 100,000.2

Arkansas is grappling with a significant problem of alcohol misuse and addiction. Specifically, from 2017 to 2019, the annual average prevalence of past-year alcohol use disorder in the state was 6.5%, equivalent to approximately 20,000 individuals.3 These figures highlight the pressing need for effective strategies and resources to address substance addiction and support those affected.

Finding Alcohol Addiction Treatment in Arkansas

In Arkansas, individuals seeking alcohol addiction treatment have access to various levels of care to address their specific needs. These treatment options include detoxification, inpatient treatment, and outpatient programs.

  • Detoxification: Detoxification, or detox, is typically the first step in the treatment process. It involves the supervised withdrawal from alcohol to manage the physical and psychological symptoms that may arise. Detox programs in Arkansas provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to undergo this process.
  • Inpatient Treatment: Inpatient treatment, also known as residential treatment, involves staying at a facility dedicated to addiction recovery. These programs offer intensive, round-the-clock care and support. Inpatient treatment in Arkansas often includes a combination of individual therapy, group counseling, educational sessions, and holistic therapies to address the various aspects of addiction.
  • Outpatient Treatment: Outpatient programs provide treatment while allowing individuals to continue living at home. These programs are more flexible, enabling individuals to attend therapy sessions and participate in treatment while maintaining their daily routines. Outpatient programs in Arkansas vary in intensity, ranging from regular therapy sessions to intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) that offer a more structured and comprehensive approach.

Arkansas also offers various therapies and specialized treatment programs to complement the core treatment modalities. These may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and family therapy, among many others.

For those seeking additional amenities and a higher level of comfort during their recovery journey, luxury rehabs in Arkansas provide upscale facilities, serene environments, and personalized services. These facilities often offer amenities such as spa treatments, gourmet meals, and recreational activities to enhance the overall experience.

Private rehabs in Arkansas cater to individuals who prefer a more exclusive and confidential treatment setting. These facilities often prioritize individualized care, privacy, and personalized treatment plans.

How Much Does Alcohol Rehab Cost?

Most insurance plans, including private health insurance and employer-sponsored plans, typically offer coverage for substance abuse treatment, including alcohol addiction. However, the extent of coverage may vary depending on the specific insurance policy. Individuals looking to use their insurance to pay for treatment should contact their insurance provider directly to understand the details of their coverage. This includes finding out what types of treatment are covered, any limitations or restrictions, the extent of coverage for inpatient or outpatient programs, and any co-pays or deductibles that may apply.

For those who are uninsured or have limited financial resources, Arkansas provides state-funded treatment centers that offer affordable or free addiction treatment services. State-funded treatment centers are facilities supported by government funding and designed to help individuals who may not have insurance coverage or the financial means to pay for private treatment programs. These centers provide a range of services, including detoxification, counseling, therapy, and support groups, to assist individuals in their recovery journey.

How Long is Alcohol Rehab?

When it comes to alcohol addiction treatment in Arkansas, there are various options for the length of stay in a treatment program. The most common durations include 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day programs, although other options may be available as well. The length of stay in a treatment program depends on your individual treatment needs and the specific facility or program you enroll in.
