Chrysalis is a substance abuse treatment facility for adult women who are homeless, intravenous drug users, court ordered referrals, dually diagnosed, HIV positive, or alternatively referred. Treatment is provided on a residential basis for three to six months. Clients must demonstrate a minimum of 72 hours of sobriety prior to admission in order to qualify for enrollment.

Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
