Social Model Recovery, Detox services offered in Guest Room, Experienced Counselors and staff, everyone's values, traditions and different cultures are all respected, honored & celebrated, beautiful facility, positive, hopeful & encouraging environment where men heal and thrive in there recovery. Family Empowerment program is excellent, with family visiting day each Sunday, monthly awards night, Excellent dining hall and delicious food served at every meal. Program & residents give back to the community donating a variety of services including Meals on Wheels, The 4 Basics of program, "goals" for men during there stay, they don't drink or use, they go to 12 step meetings, they find a job, and they learn and demonstrate to pay our own way ! Men exit the program working a personal program of recovery "living clean & sober" most men have full time & part time employment, affordable sober housing across the street from program. The personal relationships I discovered at SSC with others in recovery has been priceless... I am very grateful to SSC that they involved my family in the recovery process for there own healing. I highly recommend this program and give it 5 stars. Sun Street Centers has been providing social model recovery since 1968 - Most staff members are in recovery themselves so they really do understand and help those who are scared and suffering feel home and comfortable from the very start. Length of stay is up to 5 months long if needed. The program facility is beautiful, warm and inviting. Certified counselors and staff are always welcoming and professional. This programs reputation is second to none. I highly recommend and encourage anyone seeking help from alcohol and or drug addition to give Sun Street Centers a call and speak to someone who cares.
