I hate having to resort to leaving a bad review. I sent my adult daughter here in June. We did not go through insurance because the time it would take to get authorized would limit my daughters acceptance that she needed help. I paid the $33,000 cash from my retirement account ( I would empty that account to keep my daughter off heroin if needed). I was told that there would be no communication with her during the first week of detox. I started getting phone calls from her on day 2 begging me to pick her up and telling me how horrible everybody is treating her. I left many messages with her case manager Kaitlan asking for help on how to respond to her crying and begging me to pick her up. I never received a return call and I just kept saying no that you need to detox and learn ways to resist the urge to use again. 7 days in I received a call from one of her counselors at around 9 PM telling me I should pick her up in the morning because she is refusing to stay. I asked about all the money I spent and was told that I would be reimbursed for days not used. I quickly found another rehab place to take my daughter and this time wrote a check for $15,000 and she entered but called often begging me to pick her up from there to. I was able to speak with the director and she said she would try to work with my daughter to convince her for the need to stay. She just returned home finishing her 30 days and we are working to get her in an out patient continuation program. It has been over 30 days and have yet to receive any refund nor return call. I have left numerous messages with Kelly in accounting and she will not return my calls to let me know when or even if it will get a refund. I will not stop calling until I get a return call. I cannot say if this place is good or not but I do know they do NOT respond to family members. I checked with the intake and confirmed that I WAS on her in her list of people who the camp could communicate with about her progress. I will update later about any communication and or refund from this place

The Camp was great for my daughter's recovery. The only issues were hassles with getting Optum to cover the treatment fully, and the Camp did not help that much; it took me more than a year to get reimbursed. The Camp is effective, but seemingly primarily an income-generating business.

This was one of the biggest scams I've ever experienced. My son went there, he was treated with total disdain and contemp. I had numerous conversation with the camp's councilors, They were almost all incompetent and clueless. My son broke a rule by having his iPod with him. Music can and is very rehabilitative. When they discovered his IPod, they literally kicked him out, put his belongings in a trash bag and dumped him at the local McDonalds. I kid you not. Please DO NOT take a loved one to this facility. They care about one thing, getting as much money from you as they can. They hurt my son much more than they helped, We later found a real rehab center, not an incompetent institution like the camp, and my son has been sober for three years. The state should close this terrible place down.

I loved the Camp, I had to come off Alcohol, Opiates, Barbs and pot. The nurses are the best! I would recommend the Camp to anyone who is struggling. You might not dig it when your going through it but you will look back with nothing but good memories. Where else can you get acupuncture and yoga?
