River Oaks Treatment Center
My therapist Ray really helped me, we did family therapy together with my wife. I had perfect attendance while I was here so that was really cool. It made me feel good. I didn't come to slack off, I came to fix myself and get everything I could out of this. Mrs. Trina also gave me a lot of great information. Saffiyah was real helpful, she had us do interesting exercises in her classes which helped me open up. I liked Ian and Christina. Those were my favorites. Family therapy helped my wife and I open up and it flowed so well we were able to fix some unresolved. They play a lot of ball and volleyball here. They took me to the spine doctor while I was here which was real helpful for my wife because she works over night. I got all my aftercare set up and lots of resources for sobriety when I go home. I learned how to cope with my triggers because they will be there when I go home, I have to identify when I get those cravings how to deal with them and not act on them. it all comes down to that at the end of the day. I'm looking forward to getting home and working on my family. I learned lots of tools and I am going to keep working on myself. Overall this was a great stay and I want to put 100% into it!
