I've worked here for 3 years and I can attest from first-hand experience that everyone here does all they can for every single client, above and beyond. Unfortunately there are a lot of bad places out there that do not have the best of intentions for their clients but Beachside Rehab is not one of those places. I'm so grateful to work in an environment where I get to literally see people transform before me, become new men and women before my eyes. It is a testament to the entire team at Beachside.
Richie the TA as well as Cecil and Keita were all very sweet and help out a lot. Cami my therapist for sure. Dr. Sina actually listened to what I had to say. He made himself available and always gave me help right away. It was so comforting to know that my doctor was there for me when I needed anything, it was such a blessing. There were quite a few nurses that were helpful. I liked that we could be open and honest and not have to hide anything or be ashamed of yourself. We are always lifting each other up in group. Everyone was so supportive of each other and the therapists were always wonderful. This has been a big savior for me and a big part of my anchor for getting sober. Everything here from the staff, doctors, therapists, and groups have been an anchor for me. The other clients have been absolutely wonderful as well because they were very uplifting and supportive. My addiction was for 2 years straight without any chance to get sober. This is my first time getting treatment so being here has been literally life saving. What I've learned that stuck out the most is that I finally feel like myself again. But not my old self, a new better version of myself. I can feel my emotions again that I've suppressed with drugs and not knowing who I was for 2 whole years. Its nice to finally start discovering myself again. I wouldn't have been able to do that without being here. It can be scary but I would take this any day over what I went through before. This has been an indescribable and very spiritual experience.
