It opened up a new world to me because it reminded me of when the world was simple, I felt so included. It started helping me learn how to trust all people again. I was so hurt when I got here and I felt like a prisoner in my own mind. I couldn't believe that a substance had control of me. I found out here that I cant do it on my own and I needed help. I learned that I'm not a bad person, I'm just a sick person trying to get better. This place provided me the tools that I didn't have before. I learned how to be of service to others and captured self love. I know how it feels and what it is to love myself again. There is no better thanks that I could give for my recovery.
