AVOID My husband went to the refuge for trauma a grief therapy, depression & anxiely and was there for 7 weeks. The facilty was understaffed and over capacity. As a compassionate person he became the that other patients came to rely on for support& quidance. Taking on others trauma to the depth he was allowed to from that interfered with his healing & recovery. Also understandably when you have a group of vulnerable persons thev will tend to latch onto others. My husband did just that. The person who was uncomfortable with it. The person themself as well as another therapist brought it to attention of staff and it was dismissed. This interfered with my nusbands recovery and threatened the other persons recovery as well. There were also a lot of inappropriate behavior with people hooking up. There needs to be some sort of protection for vulnerable people who are taken down to their inner child. Professionalism should be maintained making a therapist say I love you or hugging a client unacceptable. my husband said this place was all about the $$

I have never been there, my insurance company told me that it would be covered for my son. When I called they told me I would have to have $5,000 before you would be able to be admitted. Even though he has 100% coverage after his 1800 deductible. I called the insurance company they said that is wrong they are following a report.

I did not realize how much I learned until I was stable back in a home. I was given a second chance at life, how many people can say thank you. I think I just did. I learned a lot here and wished I learned more. Everyone was opened to helping. I learned many things which will help me to live a better life I wish I had before. I know there is a place that can help, maybe they can help you? They sure helped me.

The property is the only strength, nature has a healing power all by itself sometimes. There is no rhyme or reason for their modalities, except to have clients go over their trauma over and over again, which is traumatizing in itself. My son went to this facility and he is still out there not doing great, he went there twice, so tell me how well this facility did with my son.
