Great facility with a beautiful campus. Stayed for almost 60 days. By far the best therapy that I\'ve had and I\'ve been to a few treatment cetners over the years. I\'ve recommended this place to a few people and even had a close friend go here. Unfortunately he wasn\'t able to stay for the duration but he I guess he\'s not ready. Alumni is very good and does a great job of creating a sense of community and support. Been attending alumni meetings here for over a year and now online.
All the staff here was wonderful. Everyone was so nice. Dimitrius groups was very inspiring. If you start off with his class in the morning, you are gonna have a good day. I learned I can start my day over as many times as I need to. The facility was very nice and clean. I participated in the Veterans groups with Therapist Christine who runs the Veteran program and I got a lot out of it. It helped me understand my low self esteem and helped me deal with my feelings and emotions. This was the nicest treatment I've ever been to. you really cant beat the weather. I loved doing the NA meetings. River Oaks taught me to not ever give up. I was 9 years clean and I found out I had cancer and I thought I was going to die during chemo so I ended up using. But I learned about the progression of the disease of addiction and that it can be maintained with the tools that I'm learning here. It was a real good experience and I would definitely recommend.
