This is a great IOP program! The staff here are awesome! They treat you very well, it is a good place to go if you are serious about getting clean. The sober living is in nice apartments that are walking distance from the IOP, there are nice tv's in each apartment. There are many stores and restaurants nearby if you are trying to get a recovery job. I highly recommend this program! I have stayed sober since graduating the program last October
I sent my child here for alcohol and drug addiction 4 years ago and he had one set back 6 month after he came out but he had the tools needed to get it together and he's been clean ever since. There was a personal connection to each patient, which was wonderful.
I spend over two months at Mt Sinai and I am so grateful my sister stumbled onto the website. I’ve been to several treatment centers in the last couple years so treatment itself was not a new experience for me. I knew I needed to go back to a facility, but I was skeptical anything would be different. My experience at Mt. Sinai was better than I could have hoped for from my first intake call. The guy I spoke with had so many similar experiences as I did and he made me feel hopeful and like I might be able to do this. When I got to Mt sinai all the staff made me feel seen for the first time in a long time. I wasn’t the easiest patient because even though I knew I needed to be there, it felt so hard. They helped give me perspective and helped me take things hour by hour the couple days I really wanted to leave and get high. These people really know the way addict’s minds works and they listen without judgement. I only planned on staying 30 days, but they helped me to See why it was in my benefit to have a strong plan for when I left and I ended up staying for 62 days. Towards the end of my time there I was given day and overnight passes and that was something I’d never experienced before. It was what I needed to start to feel safe outside a treatment center. I could leave the facility for a little bit of time and come back to process and truly deal with what I experienced at home with my family. I know it’s up to me to do what I need to do to stay clean long term, but what I experienced at Mt. Sinai gave me a solid place to begin. I am so grateful for the staff and the time I spent there.
