The initial detox is comfortable (it better had been after the crazy wait time to get in which is brutal), but after that the treatment experience let a lot to be desired. Their one size fits all type of treatment (which mainly caters to alcoholics) doesn\'t do much for opiate addicts in my opinion. I know it\'s different for everyone, but by the fourth day it seemed like it was vacation for the alcohol patients, but the opiate patients were still struggling..forced to sweat it out in withdrawal in meeting after meeting. After my seven days was up I walked out of that facility still in withdrawal because they taper you down from the subtex...they will set up you with medication but if you\'re still feeling withdrawal when you walk out of a facility what good does that do you? That time is critical for an addict..I feel like a medical facility should have you close to full speed physically by the time you exit. For the cost..I feel like opiate addicts would be just as better off in seeking out a suboxone doctor and detoxing at home and then attending some IOP type meetings. There should be more opiate specific modes of treatment...the group sessions got repetitive super fast and it just seemed like a way to pass time rather than productive, intensive treatment...I guess they figure that\'s all you need while detoxing. The food and ability to exercise were pluses, the volunteers and former addicts who work there are the heart of the facility. In conclusion...if you want your loved one to be in a safe environment for their detox it\'s a decent facility, however from there I wouldn\'t recommend for opiate addicts...you can get better results by just getting a suiboxone doctor, one or two therapists with a few smart recovery meetings a week.
