The Liberty Ranch

For seven years I tried to get sober doing it my way. I attended at least 10 intensive outpatient programs as well as three other residential facilities. Each time I failed and went back to alcohol and drugs only to end up worse than before. The Liberty Ranch was unlike anything I had experienced before in the most positive way. I learned how to actually live and apply what I was learning to my every day life. I was given the opportunity to learn about myself and who I was, to break down the walls of denial and dishonesty I was so engulfed in. I was given the support I needed to work through difficult and painful experiences of my past, both by staff as well as the other residents in the program. I found everything I was looking for in drugs and alcohol in sobriety: a sense of belonging, friends, acceptance, freedom, etc....and that would not have been possible without The Liberty Ranch. Today I have almost five and a half years clean and sober from all mind and mood altering substances and it all began the day I walked in the doors of The Ranch.
