Avenues Recovery Center At Louisiana

4933 Wabash Street, Suite 203, Metairie, Louisiana, 70001
Addiction Recovery Resources believes that true recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction is only possible when an individual is given the opportunity to reintegrate into his or her community environment. The Louisiana-based residential rehab allows its clients to do just that by offering a network of positive support, in addition to a continuum of care designed to meet the needs of patients at every stage of the disease. Family participation is also essential to recovery, and the wellness of the non-addicted family members is the goal of family participation. AAR believes that recovery is possible for all addicts and alcoholics, as well as the people who love them.

Specialization

  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • Intensive Out Patient (IOP)

Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.
