Thirty one short days ago I was one foot off the cliff of life. Looking down ready to jump due to the depths of my depression & addiction. Battling my demons for almost thirty years, it has taken me through the depths of living hell. It was at that time, I was on the way to the Ochsner hospital contemplating that jump . Something told me to call Townsand as last plea, knowing there would be waiting list. Upon calling the blessings started to appear. Within twelve hours I was walking though the front door. Only two be greeted by the most passionate and sincere nurses I’ve ever met. It wasn’t long before the tech supervisor, would be catering to any an every need! And that wouldn’t stop there! Thank you to my doctor for putting up with our sessions and assessments full of tears of pain. You are the most knowledgeable and passionate addiction doctor I’ve ever sat down with. The people here truly have saved my life and taught me how to love myself again. I want to thank my counselor for guiding me back to loving myself again. From the moment I walked in until my final day the staff has been nothing short of God-sent people. These people genuinely care about the outcome of their patients! After over dozen stays in treatment centers & mental institutions spanning over multiple states. Hands down the state of the art accommodations ,cleanliness , and overall knowledgeable staff is bar none. If you have a loved one or if your suffering from the depths of addiction. I can’t recommend this place enough! Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for this experience. Tears of joy roll down my face as I write this because I have my life again. This center I was in for a full month last year in 2013 around July and it was a godsend! I was suffering from everything possible. The treatment staff was increadable understandable they were available and sincerely sweet. The classes were although hard to make yourself go to they were a must to get better! I enjoyed the music therapy and the art therapy. They keep your days filled with classes and intervention so you aren\'t just sitting around feeling sorry for yourself not knowing what to do. You have a 4\" thick homework book filled with tons of information and practice stuff you can even take with you when you leave and reference to when times get rough. I wanted to cry the day I left. I truly grew to love these people as I felt they took a journey with me toward a healthier life. I thank each and every one of them for I feel as though going there was a blessing that not many have or will get to experience. My life has truly been changed for the better forever! Thank you for all that you do! I wish other treatment phacilities could be more like you guys.
