My experience at Brook was very beneficial. The facilities are beautiful! The therapists and the recovery support staff really cared. They worked with me through my hard times and helped set me up for a long term recovery plan that would put me in a position to be successful! Highly recommend. I especially liked all the activities like yoga and mindfulness practices. The activities were fun and the group were like family to me for my time there.
I spent 30 days here and had a great therapist but often groups were facilitated by instructors who were underprepared. You have a lot of unstructured free time that could be used for programming. I relapsed and went back to a different rehab (Swift River) and did much better there. Unfortunately, Spring Hill staff has been calling and texting me over and over again ever since, despite the fact that I have told them many times I decided to go to Swift River instead of choosing Spring Hill. They even called my father several times as I had listed him as my emergency contact. When I finally called to ask that they stop calling me and my father I was accused of lying about being in a different treatment center and hung up on. I finally wrote this review because I could not find another way of making the phone calls stop. Clearly they are hurting for business, but as a person in recovery this hounding made me feel used.
This is a very well-run program for men and women in recovery. I cannot speak highly enough of their organization. Thank you.
