Mayflower Detox is a wonderful place to begin the process of turning your life around. The compassionate staff are dedicated to each patient and their unique needs that each personal journey entails. The building and facilities themselves help bring dignity to those that come for treatment and bear witness to the fact that each person is valuable, and each story is worthy of being told. I can't recommend Mayflower Detox highly enough.
everyone was so polite even though my pain took over me in 2 days I feel like I haven't in such a long time and this will be a lesson for the rest of my life
Staff is amazing, from the nurses, case managers, RT’s , kitchen staff, doctors and housekeeping. Always very supportive for all patients and their needs. Food always very good with a variable menu. Housekeeping very efficient and professional, accommodating and friendly. New more comfortable mattresses with box springs and comfortable pillows would be nice for the patients comfort during their stay. Also, the wicker furniture in the main living room either needs to have the chair seats repaired and some new comfortable plush cushions added as a majority of patients time is spent in this room and they are uncomfortable and falling apart. If they can not be repaired and made to be more comfortable a brand new set should be bought . I would think that the owner could afford this at the expense of the patients comfort during their detox stay. Lastly, patients insurance companies are billed for occupational therapy from 2pm-4pm daily. Each patient is invited up to the barn for activities ie to play pool which the current one was falling apart (a new one was just donated by a patient). The ping pong paddles need to be replaced along with new balls . the basketball hoop is without a net and the basketballs are flat. Other activities should be added as well up there so that more patients may actually want to participate instead of declining because of the poor conditions. Overall, as a patient and a professional RN, I would recommend Baldpate to others. Thank You.
