My half sister has szruggled with addiction for many many years! i don\'t even remember her seeing fully clean for a longer period than a week or two. Yeah like really bad, i cludi g getting arrested numerous times, it was getting really hard on the family and everyone, we almost never even talked much anymore, cause there was not much to talk about. It was about her all the time, what to do what to do, all our efforts ended up not working, so we were looking for solutions, like we have been for a long time, and we heard ablut afr, and than we watched some videos and read about it, and most of the people said that it really helped them get theough the program and helped them get sober, cause of the more holistic approach they applied. So that sounded really good, we thought since it is a bit different, the are more helping the person find their inner problems and so on it might work. To be honest we did not have much of a beleife since it has been a long time that she was under going so many different treatments or getting hell, but this was it. They did do what they promised and we were all so skocked and surprised. I could not beleive my eyes when she came back, she seems like really honestly happy and satisfied with her rehab. She was herself and we could talk to her and she was there and she was listening and smiling. Amazing! She did not have these urges or this tired used face anymore, she was herself after such a long time. She said what made the biggest difference for her was, that they really made her face her personal issues and see what it was that made her use drugs and they fixed all her issues, she is more confident now and she knows how to deal with her issues and triggers. She said she also realized that she was really hanging out with the wrong people, but now she knows and she made real life long friends at the rehab, and she saw how they were helping each other and really pushing each other to move on their program and to stay clean. She said that there was a gym at the rehab, that was very good, she went ot work out as much as she could, and that helped her also get through the hard parts. There were also many different courses like music and art therapy, she tried them and she liked those too, cause they got to woth together as a group and they had so much fun. She said that she really bonded with many people. She also said that most of the staff were amazing, they followed up on them, and they were really caring about her to get better. The director would come up to her every day to ask her how she was doing and what help does she need and what not. I think thats fantastic that every staff cares this much. She liked the place too, though it needs some upgrades, but it was still nice. Just from seeing my half sister change this much after the rehab I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
numerous recovery tools. group meetings are awesome. we are all there for the same purpose. to learn how to prevent relapse.
Personnel were very caring and attentive. Small and need more group field trips other than laundry. I thought it was a great experience. The simplicity of it made me focus mainly on myself which was the major issue. I have recommended it to a few people seeking help.
