So I was at the peak house a few different times and it was great! There nice homes and the staff are straight to the point, they really do try helping and with it being a Christian based program makes it even better. I would recommend for anyone coming out of treatment looking to gain their life back.
Before I arrived to A Forever Recovery, I somewhat felt relieved that people genuinely cared for me when I couldn’t even begin to care for myself. I cannot think of anyone who wasn’t did/willing to go above and beyond during my rehabilitation treatment. No matter when, if I had any type of questions, there was ALWAYS someone with an answer or willing to help figure it out. That made me feel as if I was important to them, like the truly cared about me. I was willing to get back in touch with my faith by attending church every Wednesday and Sunday. To me it gave me a feeling of relief. Another thing that was important to me was when we had meals. Not only was the food absolutely FANTASTIC, but everyone ate together. Sitting together and having a meal with friends gives you a homelike feeling that I feel you wouldn’t get anywhere else. If you feel like you’re at your breaking point to wanting to change your life because of an addiction, take my advice and contact A Forever Recovery and let them help you take charge of your life and fight off the sickness that has taken control over you. It will be the best decision you’ve ever made.
Bring patience when working with this facility! It took 10+ hours for intake process, half hour or longer to try to speak with someone via phone on each attempt; little to no interaction with staff and doctors for both our minor child and ourselves. Seems very disorganized in many ways. We received several different people calling to ask consent for the same medication. Took them 2 days to provide clothing we brought to our minor child. Changed the release date at the last minute. Not enough time to make proper arrangements with my job.
