Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation

Strengths include: Co-occurring disorders, young people, family programming, food. The best facility that my family could have sent me to. Staff was helpful, supportive, and comforting during the entire process. Great medical and mental health staff. However, the cost was a downfall.

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation

I only needed to get away for a few days, so when the few days were up I was ready to go. Being away from "friends" was what I really needed, not a 12 step program. Medicating the clients was the main form of "treatment", I felt/feel this was not only ineffective but hypocritical. The facilities were pretty nice, but there was only a 12 step traditional approach; no holistic approach at all. ... If you need a rigid 12 step program then this is the place for you!! ...

New Visions Center

Strengths: Home type atmosphere, small groups, close to home. Weaknesses: Old building, not handicap friendly/accessible, not able to treat people with severe health issues. A residential treatment facility that is in a small out-state city.
