They teach you many tools to deal with life - help you become accountable to yourself and to your needs. After you graduate, you can choose to attend group sessions held a few times a month. Those sessions helped me to continue my recovery growth and relay the message of recovery back to the new clients.

This place is honestly horrible. If you have an option on which treatment you need to go to please consider new visions in Alexandria. PTA discharged my man on his out date. But didn't let him graduate from there because apparently he was using while there LOL . Funny part about it is he took a piss test every Friday. And if they had any inkling that he was using they should have presented him with a piss test. It's so funny at first they said that he wasnt following program rules. And then they changed their minds as to why he didnt graduate. Staff was rude when family day came around. They treat the clients like prisoners. Just rude staff all the way around tbh. I could tell he hated it there. Any time he called he sounded in distress and fed up/sad ect which is not like him at all. Not the case with new visions in Alexandria. Everytime he has called he is happy and so talkative and loves talking about his day. He gets to go on walks and do activities during the day without feeling like he has to walk on eggshells around staff. He loves his counselor. 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sure what yall had against my man who just wanted to graduate so he can get on with his life to be with his family and kids n animals. I know my vato like the back of my hand and he would NEVER risk using in a place like pta. He has too much to lose to be doing that now. So thankful for the staff and new visions for treating my man like a human being instead of some burden such as PTA did. Maybe yall should revaulate your staff. They treat the clients like crap they claim that they need to be pushed so they can open up and get over their addiction. WRONG addicts deserve love and kind treatment and respect like anyone else regardless of what background they come from. All they want is to be treated like human beings like the rest of us. They deserve it. My man WILLINGLY wanted to get help and yall treated him like garbage and tried to set him up to fail. But guess what. Hes doing just fine and got a second chance to go to a different treatment where they value the clients and dont feel left out. Get yalls stuff together. -bambi

Education, faith based, support. Not enough exercise time. Project Turnabout saved my life. I was extremely sick when I arrived and left a completely changed person. I had no idea what addiction really was and how it was affecting my life. I highly recommend this facility and their amazing staff.
