saved my life. I loved that they use the 12 step program as well as the wellness part that included. Salon days, massages once a week. workout/boxing/yoga facilities. Yes, house managers are former addicts but they left the most impression on me to have them share their stories with me, to give me encouragement. They understand how it is, yes, they are tough bc they were addicts as well. I feel sometimes patients forget this is not their home, you\'re in rehab, there are rules to follow, you\'re not on vacate, its not going to be easy to have people tell you what/when and how to do things. Things weren\'t working out they way I was doing things. I needed to be told what to do and how even though I didn\'t like it. suck it up. The food is great, you make a grocery list and house managers will buy whatever you like. A chef comes to the houses once a week to cook. Most houses have pools, others have a pool table and basketball. Some of the house could use updating and I saw them constantly working on. There are so many people going in and out of those houses. I do have to say unfortunately bc of insurance companies many patients would get sent home early. shame on the insurance companies. I find solution recovery is an excellent facilities.
My life was saved here, I know I made the decision to go but Ive tried to get and stay clean before. This was different, and Im finally sober and HAPPY. The staff felt like family but remained so professional, it felt like they woudnt sleep unless we were all good for the night. Seeing them as all recovering themselves, and how strong and caring they are made me want to be the same. It quickly became home, between the people and the surroundings. I hope to be a part of their team one day, because I truly believe in their program and they saved my life and I want to do this for others.
