My individual counselor appreciated that I wanted to understand more about the underlying mental condition that contributed to my addiction. She provided me with 3rd party literature to assist me. As a smoker, I didn't want to tackle that at the same time. They let us take breaks and even provided cigarettes or alternatives such as the patch, for those in need. Although not created on site, I thought the food was excellent. I gained some much-needed weight. The staff allowed cliques to form and some individuals were left out, which, in my opinion, is a contributing factor in addiction.
