Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.Individualized Treatment

Dave Neltner, LICDC-CSClinical CoordinatorDave brings over 30 years of substance abuse treatment experience to the ARC. He has been a certified substance counselor since 1993 working in both northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati with men women children and families and currently holds the L.I.C.D.C.-C.S. Dave's approach combines knowledge experience and humor while always placing the client first.- Sherry Johnson, CDCACounselor AssistantSherry Johnson awarded Associate of Applied Science with major in Addictions (2011). She is currently working on her Bachelors in College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services with Major of Substance Abuse Counseling. Sherry has worked for four years in a domestic violence shelter with women and children, empowering them to overcoming abuse by living healthier and safer stable lives. Sherry is trained in Sexual Abuse Prevention (Stewards of Children) ,and S.T.A.N.D. for Your Community Opiate Summit 2013. Sherry is currently Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant in the State of Ohio.
