My son attended & I really feel they know what they are doing. They were very supportive to the family. N gave me insight to what my son was going through Help me put my sons addiction in the right perspective. Place look clean and very experience staff. And although my son didn’t. Want to stay. When he came out. I was able to talk to him and he actually heard me He said cause he was sober. Wow. One staff member in particular Tami. And another lady. They were so helpful to family members w online meetings for parents. They know a lot bout addiction
I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
Strengths: faculty, admissions and discharge, detox care, medical, group therapy, daily scheduling.Weaknesses: Not many leisure activites. I was admitted to this facility the day I decided to seek treatment. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They were also non-judgmental. Staff were professional and kept a lookout at all times. Food was good as well as treatments. Each day was scheduled almost to the T. Many groups per day on addiction, co-occurring, art therapy, meditation, AA/NA groups, etc. The was my first rehab and hopefully last. I have currently been sober 1 year and 3 months!
