This place is amazing. The staff and clientele range from many different ages. The staff is so welcoming and down to earth! A lot of the staff here is in recovery theirselves which makes the whole experience incredible. I wasn\'t in need for anything while here at STR. The owner even runs groups from time to time. You tell me another place where you will go and actually shake hands with the owner? Everyone seems to care and you can tell its from the heart. I would recommend this place to my own family!
My time at Water Gap Wellness was life changing. I had daily access to medical attention from Dr and regular individual sessions with my therapist. I was able to work through so much, and I feel the best I ever have about my future! If they would let me, I would stay at Water Gap forever. The food is great with variety and vegetarian options. The bedrooms are huge and come with big TV's and Hulu, Amazon Prime, and fast internet. There are lots of living room areas to lounge or watch a movie with others, and right out the back door is the golf course and the most incredible sunsets you can imagine...and the Appalachian Trail is literally right next door too. In every way, Water Gap Wellness really is exceptional.
The care was excellent and got an amazing education about my addiction. They were able to answer all of my questions during my first visit to treatment. I felt that everything was all inclusive at this facility. The spirituality aspect of the 12 steps was broken down really well by the staff and the 12 step instructor.
