Symetria was the 4th MAT clinic I've attended many years ago. I was their 7th patient in college station when they opened their doors, so I know from my experience of the clinics I've attended, right away this place is different. The staff were extremely pleasant and inviting, the office itself was esthetically pleasing, they accommodated me in so many ways, I could go on and on about how they have gone above and beyond to keep me on the right path. It was here where I learned about Recovery Coaches and what they do. Symetria offered to pay for my recovery coach training classes, which were not cheap at all. The best part is the staff. Hands down, they're the most loving, caring, compassionate people I've ever met. I recommend Symetria to any and every one that has ears. Back then, I was their 1st successful discharge, tapering off methadone. The support from everyone from the receptionist to the nurse, to the counselor AND the program director, literally everyone had my back as I moved ahead in my life. I walked into symetria one year clean but an absolute MESS of a person, and I left someone completely different with a new love for life and I owe them everything just for what they put up with from me lol (as you can see I can TALK.. and talk, I did, to every one, for hours haha) 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I had to go to a nursing home, the doctor took me off all my meds from CMS and dropped my methadone. I was at pain level 8. Going back, they could not have been more helpful, the doctor immediately put me back on my meds and methadone, pain level 0.
This place and the people in it are angles. The therapist here made the correct diagnosis for the first time in my life. It basically has saved my life. They have taken the extra mile to help me. There are not enough words. They have also helped me financially in a big way. That has been a blessing for sure. No one has ever helped me the way they have. I truly believe they are sent from heaven.
