Treatment Philosophy
At Greenhouse, we serve the greater Dallas area and beyond from our Grand Prairie facility. We know firsthand that one size does not fit all when it comes to addiction treatment, especially considering that many of our own staff members are in recovery themselves. Every person’s journey to recovery is unique. That’s why we offer individualized treatment plans and many levels of care, from inpatient medical detox where—where you can detox from any substances on which you’re physically dependent, in a safe and medically monitored environment—all the way to outpatient therapy. Based on your progress in treatment, you may adjust your plan as needed, moving between levels of care as necessary to ensure you’re getting the most out of your time at Greenhouse. Recovery from drug and alcohol addiction involves much more than detox. It requires new ways of thinking and new coping skills. Our program in Grand Prairie Texas includes numerous proven therapies to help you delve into the reasons behind your substance use, adjust harmful beliefs, uncover your motivations for getting sober, and learn new ways to cope that don’t involve substances. Our program also includes many expressive, recreational, and holistic therapies to introduce you to healthy ways to alleviate anxiety and help you learn to live a fulfilling life without drugs and alcohol. Your first step in your recovery journey is one of the most important steps you can take in your life. We make it easy to say yes to getting help by offering a range of features and amenities that will make your time in treatment comfortable, to help you heal your body (for example with chef-prepared balanced meals), and to allow you to focus entirely on what is most important: your recovery. Our wide range of features and benefits includes yoga classes, an indoor heated pool, a nutritionist, a meditation garden and bio-sound therapy available onsite for an additional fee, and more.

Treatment Philosophy
Most individuals who find their way to a Resolutions facility have already completed treatment at one of American Addiction Centers’ facilities and are now seeking the next step in the continuum of care. Resolutions’ connections with some of AAC’s state-of-the-art facilities, like Greenhouse Treatment Center, allows staff can provide residents with a high quality of care, without impeding the resident’s daily routines. From Monday-Friday, patients will participate in programming that is designed to help them continue moving forward with their recovery goals. We understand that given the nature of outpatient programs, many patients may still be employed or have responsibilities at home while they receive care. Therefore, we work with each patient to help make appropriate accommodations to their necessary schedules. For example, should a patient need to be on a work call during treatment hours, we ask that they inform their therapist so we can provide them with a quiet space for them to take that call. This is just one of the many ways that we help you balance your work and treatment so that you can achieve long lasting recovery.

Treatment Philosophy
Greenhouse Outpatient Treatment Center is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers. At this facility, we offer the clinically appropriate client an opportunity to complete addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment as an outpatient as opposed to residential (or inpatient) treatment. Our programs allow the client to live offsite while attending structured treatment onsite on a part-time but still effective schedule. To accommodate the client’s family life, employment schedule, and community obligations, we offer flexible scheduling at two levels of outpatient care, Intensive Outpatient Program and an Outpatient program.

More Info

If you are or know somebody who is struggling with alcohol addiction or abuse, you aren’t alone. Over 16 million American adults suffer from alcohol abuse along with over half a million teens.

fort worthy texasIn Tarrant County, Texas, from 1999 to 2016, there were:

  • 22 deaths from acute alcohol intoxication
  • 60 deaths from alcohol abuse
  • 185 deaths from alcohol addiction
  • 12 deaths from alcohol withdrawal
  • 16 deaths from other alcohol problems

What is Alcohol Addiction Treatment?

If you suspect that you or someone you care about has an alcohol use disorder (alcoholism), it may be time to seek professional help. No matter how serious the problem seems, people can recover from alcoholism and live happier, more productive lives. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) reports that alcohol addiction treatment can be very effective, with research showing “that about 1/3 of people who are treated for alcohol problems have no further symptoms 1 year later.”

Effective treatment may involve medications to ease withdrawal symptoms, therapy through a rehabilitation program to understand the addiction and change behaviors, and long-term aftercare programming such as peer support groups to help maintain sobriety and avoid relapse

Why Choose an American Addiction Centers Facility

Alcohol.org is a subsidiary of American Addiction Centers (AAC) which offers a nationwide network of facilities, an alumni support system, quality care, and a 90-day promise. Whether located in your city or in a state near you, at AAC facilities you’ll find quality care and custom plans offering a wide range of treatment options and different levels of care to best fit your needs.

AAC’s goal is to put your recovery first so that you get the most out of your experience. They provide a knowledgeable team of doctors, clinicians, and counselors to not only address substance abuse but also co-occurring mental illness, physical wellness, social issues, and more. Further, if a person relapses after completing 90 days of treatment at an AAC program, they can return for 30 days of complimentary treatment.

As an AAC alumnus, you’ll get the opportunity to interact with other alumni across the country through hosted gatherings and events. Plus, alumni coordinators check-in regularly to ensure those recovering from substance abuse benefit from continued support.

Where Can I Detox From Alcohol?

Alcohol withdrawal symptoms can be dangerous and even life-threatening, and make quitting extremely difficult. Find a nearby medical detox center to start your recovery safely.
