ABOUT GREENHOUSE TREATMENT CENTER
Greenhouse Treatment Center remains open and committed to providing critical addiction treatment during the Coronavirus pandemic. As per the updated CDC guidelines, patients who are vaccinated may not need to quarantine upon admissions. Those who are vaccinated against COVID-19 should bring their vaccination cards to the facility when they enter treatment. COVID-19 testing at Greenhouse remains available, and the facility is accepting both vaccinated and unvaccinated patients.
Greenhouse Treatment Center in Grand Prairie, Texas, provides detoxification services, as well as residential care, outpatient programming, and aftercare services for adult men and women dealing with substance misuse and co-occurring disorders. The facility is also one of 86 rehabs in Texas (20 percent of all rehabs in the state) to offer a specialized LGBTQ program.
Greenhouse also has a second campus in Arlington, Texas. The facility is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC).
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment at Greenhouse begins with a comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation that is used to determine the level of care needed and develop individualized treatment plans. In addition, Greenhouse may incorporate medication-assisted treatment (MAT), such as Suboxone, to minimize the discomfort of opioid withdrawal.
Greenhouse implements 12-step principles and evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Along with traditional methods, clients may opt to participate in yoga or meditation, Pilates or Tai Chi, fitness regimens, or spiritual reflection sessions.
Clients in the residential and outpatient programs also participate in individual, group, and family counseling. Outpatient programming at the nearby Arlington, Texas, campus is offered at two levels: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which are offered at 15.1 and 53.8 percent of rehabs in Texas, respectively.
Greenhouse also facilitates a series of aftercare recovery groups that address common topics relevant to addiction, co-occurring disorders, and life after treatment. In addition, clients who successfully complete the 90-day residential program, but subsequently relapse, may receive 30 days of free treatment.
