Sundown M Ranch
Sundown offers a great program. The facility is nice, food was good although it was mainly comfort food, and everyone who works there was so kind and a lot of them had been in the program. I really did not receive much one on one time with my counselor but if I needed her she was there for me. I would suggest to some of the staff that they get out of their big offices and interact with the patients a little more... I am 49 years old and went there on my own accord and paid for some of it out of pocket, I wasn't there to mess around.
John Volken Academy - Seattle
After a long cycle of traditional rehab, relapse, traditional rehabs again and again, my son found John Volken Academy. What a difference this unique program has made! I truly don’t know if my son would be alive today without the skills and heart-change resulting from the principles and processes of this program.

The facility has good visitor hours and times and the staff are accommodating to their client's visitors and needs. The treatment does not seem to be very specifically oriented. It's very broad. And, more like a detox than rehab. The staff were very helpful, and seemed to be genuinely invested in the recovery of the patients there. The property is located in a somewhat more rural area near Seattle proper. Strict visitation rules are in place.
